Website Privacy Policy
Blue Ocean is committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of all visitors to its website. We will maintain your privacy and any data collected is for our purposes only. Please read the following privacy policy to understand how we use and protect the information you provide. Changes to our privacy policy will be posted on this site.
Google and Squarespace Analytics
When someone visits our website, we use third-party services, Google Analytics, Squarespace, and HubSpot to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to better understand the number of users and which content users find most appealing. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make, and do not allow Google, Squarespace, or HubSpot to make any attempt to find out the identities of those visiting our website.
Mailing Lists
As part of the registration process for our newsletters, we collect personal information. We use that information solely to provide you with the newsletters you have requested, and to occasionally contact you to gain your direct feedback about our firm. We would never give this information to another organisation or business.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our newsletters. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to our newsletter at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails or by emailing our data protection officer Ted Holmes.
Third Parties
We do not share your personal information with any third party.
You are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to our data protection officer Ted Holmes to do so. This policy is reviewed annually and was last reviewed in January 2024.
